"First class work carried out without fuss and exactly as discussed. Would highly recommend."
Pollarded trees are most commonly found in cities but this type of tree trimming can be done anywhere where trees need to be restricted in how high they can grow but it can only be done to certain tree species. Pollarding is done by cutting trees almost right back to the trunk in some cases or to the desired height in others.
New shoots which grow from these shortened branches are much thinner than the originals which continue to thicken so pollarded trees get that look where a large trunk ‘head’ forms with lots of small shoots sticking out of it.
